The RSOC have a large paid membership and an even larger following of RS enthusiasts.
For some time now we have had access to a facility which lets us email, pretty simply, both groups of people to share events, offers or useful information however we have not been using this to communicate and have relied on our social media platforms to do all the talking. It is quite clear that not everyone can get onto social media to see what we have been up to or are planning so we are relaunching the RSOC newsletter!
In the past, there was close to 6,000 people on this mailing list and on average we had been sending one email every 6 weeks so not the usual spam you might receive. At the bottom of each email there is the simple (and mandatory) "unsubscribe me" button. That list was deleted in 2018 when changes to GDPR were introduced however some users immediately renewed their subscription. If you have renewed since we deleted that list, then you will be included on the mailing list for the next newsletter.
